You’ll work closely with a range of Amazon colleagues to understand how they work, and what you/your teams can learn, as well as sharing your own expertise. Together, you’ll identify exciting new opportunities and will take the lead when it comes to designing their implementation. You’ll encourage and support your teams to meet important deliverables, while proactively looking for new, data-backed ways we could do things better. About the team Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) is a rapidly growing, global operation unit, which significantly impacts the customer experience. As part of ATS, we are at the forefront of innovation, rebuilding transportation network and helping our carrier partners operate safely with access to technology platform across Europe. Using air, sea, and road transport, you’ll help the operations run at maximum efficiency. Our team captures data and uses it to drive decisions, which is key to making Amazon more innovative and efficient. Basic Qualifications - A degree - Relevant experience diagnosing root cause of issues, problem-solving skills - Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including your peers and leadership - Advanced proficiency in written and verbal English Preferred Qualifications - Advanced degree in Logistics or Transportation - Experience in driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership - Experience working in an operational environment or with technical teams - Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean - Project-management qualification such as PRINCE2, APM, PMI, or similar Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
