Your role and responsibilities
Looking for a taste of working life in an international, future-focused corporate group? Then join us as an intern (m/f/d) and familiarise yourself with a suitable department for 3 to 6 months. You will be involved in large-scale projects and perform a defined set of duties independently. Use your internship to build a network and become familiar with our company. The following tasks and responsibilities will be part of your role: • SW development of a sensor solution intended for an ABB product • Sensor integration into a python based software • Implement, test and further development of existing AI software for anomaly detection and/or time series data • Design and development of a software GUI • Minimum duration of internship: 12 weeks • The possibility to write a subsequent Bachelor's or Master's thesis is given
Qualifications for the role
* Data Science, Computer Science or similar fields currently enrolled in, preferably Master's studies
* Experience in software development, with proven skills in programing languages such as Python
* Knowledge in AI, especially anomaly detection and/or time series data
* Basic knowledge of GUI implementation in Python or willingness to learn
* Some experience with hardware interfaces (to sensor systems) is considered a plus
* German spoken and English spoken and written
* Ability to work independently and manage tasks autonomously
* Excellent team collaboration with a focus on open communication
* Customer- and solution-oriented mindset, focused on delivering effective results
