Allianz Global Learning and Skills Management is responsible for global learning, skills management and strategic workforce planning within Allianz Group. Allianz Global Learning and Skills Management drives the development of skills and capabilities across Allianz Group in alignment with our business priorities and the needs of our OEs.
How can you make an impact?
The Senior Business and Data Analyst for Skills and Learning will be responsible for setting up and driving methodologies, metrics, processes and systems used to steer Learning and Skills as enabler for to best support Strategic Workforce Planning of Allianz Group. The focus is on helping to translate strategically focused information to operational plans. Furthermore you will also support developing of impactful KPI's along our value chain from SWP, Skills to Learning while also provide input for Strategic and Planning Dialogues for Allianz Group.
Key Responsibilities:
* Learning & Skills Strategy Development: Design, implement, and continuously improve the end-to-end framework for Learning and Skills Management, ensuring alignment with business objectives and workforce capability needs.
* Process Optimization & Governance: Lead the efficiency and governance workstream for the department, identifying and implementing process improvements, automation, and best practices to streamline operations.
* Data & Analytics Business Ownership: Serve as the key account manager for AZ Services, overseeing all aspects of data and analytics related to skills and learning, ensuring business needs are met with data-driven insights.
* Customer-Centric Insights & ROI Measurement: Develop a structured Voice of the Customer (VoC) framework, including a 5-star rating system and methods for measuring Return on Learning Investment (ROLI) to assess impact and improve learning initiatives.
* Operational Excellence & Analytics Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor in operational excellence and data analytics, shaping strategies for data-driven decision-making, reporting frameworks, and impact measurement for Learning and Skills Management.
* KPI & Performance Management: Define, track, and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring alignment with business goals. Leverage automation, digital tools, and emerging technologies to drive efficiency and scalability.
* Data Strategy & Toolset Development: Define the target data architecture and tool ecosystem, challenging the status quo and recommending innovative solutions to enhance effectiveness in Learning and Skills Management.
* Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration: Work closely with senior management, cross-functional teams, and key stakeholders, ensuring business impact through effective engagement and lean, solution-oriented approaches.
* Continuous Process Improvement: Partner with Operational Excellence (OE) teams to validate and implement process improvement initiatives, optimizing and accelerating workflows for better agility and effectiveness.

Minimum Qualifications:
* Stakeholder Engagement & Impact: Proven ability to achieve high business impact and stakeholder satisfaction through engagement, collaboration, and lean, solution-oriented approaches.
* Agile & Growth Mindset: Experience working in an agile environment, with a strong commitment to continuous learning, innovation, and professional development.
* Stakeholder-Centric Approach: Strong ability to understand, anticipate, and address stakeholder needs, contributing to a vision-driven, customer-focused learning and skills strategy.
* Passion for Data & Technology: Deep understanding of data analytics, business intelligence (BI) tools, and technology-driven solutions, with a passion for leveraging data to drive decision-making.
* Technical Proficiency: Solid experience with databases, data modeling, and analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Tableau). Basic programming skills (e.g., Python, R) are a plus.
* Communication & Storytelling: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights into clear, actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Organizational Excellence: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Business Acumen: Previous experience in business-related functions (e.g., Sales, Operations, Claims, Underwriting, Investment Management, Asset Management, Consulting, Product Development, Finance, Market Management, Digital/Tech) is a plus.

Qualifications & Requirements:
* Stakeholder Management: Proven expertise in managing diverse stakeholders including senior management, building strong relationships, and effectively aligning business needs with data-driven solutions.
* Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Management, Business Administration, Data Science, or a related field.
* Data & Reporting Strategy: Hands-on experience in developing and implementing data and reporting strategies, ensuring insights drive business impact and decision-making.
* Data Visualization & Analytics: Proficiency in data visualization and analysis tools such as Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, Tableau, or similar platforms.
* Advanced Business Acumen: Ability to break down complex topics, assess current business conditions, define requirements, and establish actionable strategies to achieve business objectives.
* Technical Proficiency:
o Advanced skills in Excel, Power Query, and Power BI with a strong focus on data cleansing, data modeling, and dashboard development.
o Familiarity with SAP Analytics Cloud and other relevant business intelligence tools.
* Project & Change Management:
o Strong project management skills, with the ability to drive initiatives from concept to execution.
o Expertise in change management, including stakeholder engagement, managing transition phases, and effective communication throughout the change process.
* Communication & Presentation: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Language Skills: Fluency in English is required; basic German skills are an advantage.
