Commercial Director (Head of Marketing & Sales) Specialty

We are looking for a Commercial Director (Head of Marketing & Sales) who will be accountable for planning, implementing, and monitoring commercialization strategies (marketing, sales and cross-functional) to achieve the BU business performance including patient share target, new patient growth target, sales revenue target, and reimbursement targets (where applicable). The Commercial Director will also be responsible for strategic execution and overall activities of sales force effectiveness including key account management and capabilities building, Omnichannel marketing, patient pathway building.
Key Responsibilities will be:
1. Responsible for developing and executing Marketing & Sales strategies for delivering growth and profit targets and ensuring achievement of results
2. Keep eye on industry & market dynamics; anticipate, analyse, and identify current & future market opportunities and their potential impact on GSK
3. Create innovative omnichannel strategies and long-term solutions for GSK commercial success by applying comprehensive technical, commercial (sales incl. KAM & marketing) and business (cross-functional, global to local) knowledge
4. Provide direction and insight to the marketing team to ensure that effective product strategies are data driven and customer insight based, and executed, aligned to GSK corporate objectives. Ensure compliance and adherence to the highest ethical standards and consistent communication of ethical image and position
5. Set challenging sales targets and support their achievement, as well as longer term portfolio growth in line with strategic objectives
6. Co-creation responsibilities together with the global TA for new assets, launches and brand campaigns
7. Develop, maintain, and improve business relations with key customers and other relevant stakeholders on the patient pathway. Lead the team to build strong partnerships with Key External Experts and medical associations
8. Lead the team to develop commercialization capability (sales, marketing and cross-functional), develop effective measures to track progress, identify gaps, and implement accelerated improvements
9. Upskill organisation and involved team members to competitive specialty levels, adjust pace to stay ahead of competition in a constantly innovating market. Establish agility and single patient focus as management and performance principles
Requirements:
1. BA/BSc level or any equivalent degree
2. Experience in commercial pharmaceutical industry (marketing and sales roles) for at least 8-10 years
3. Specialty experience is a must (respiratory experience would be ideal)
4. 3-5 years of experience regarding the leadership of a team with multiple layers
5. Experience in launching a product is a must have criteria
