»Your Task:
1. You are responsible for ensuring compliance with the Global Opportunity Management process
2. You analyse tenders and assign tasks to internal stakeholders and are responsible for checking/validating the information received from internal stakeholders
3. You will oversee the entire process, including the development of response formats/pricing matrix/response to RFQs and the timely submission of RFIs, RFPs and RFQs to clients/vendors
4. Provide a high quality proposal to the assigned proposal manager, product manager and/or other opportunity management teams for validation and submission to the client
5. You will support and maintain the pricing database for transport, logistics and distribution tariffs and take care of the maintenance of tender data profiles and records, including updating tender trackers and completed tenders
6. Ensure that debriefing meetings are conducted by bid managers and product managers for all bids, both successful and unsuccessful bids. Ensure that debriefings are shared with internal stakeholders upon completion
7. You support the assignment of TM leads within the country team
8. Ensure the tracking and closing of all opportunities managed and provide accurate estimates of profit, retention and loss, volume and trade information
9. You are the interface to other functional groups such as IT, Industry Vertical, Trade Lane Development, Product Pricing & Tender Region as well as to customers in the development/delivery of customer-centric services and solutions
» Your Skills:
10. You have advanced air freight expertise
11. You have longtime working experience in a logistics or project management with focus on air freight
12. You have functional experience in the areas of air freight/sea freight and tender management
13. You have expertise in the areas of scoping, solution design and pricing
14. You have a basic business administration competence and basic business management skills
15. You are able to manage cross-functional interfaces and be successful in a matrix organization
16. You have a talent for organisation and can set priorities, plan, allocate and control
17. You have excellent Excel skills and are also familiar with MS Word and PowerPoint
18. Work experience with CRM systems is an advantage
19. You are fluent in English, verbally and in writing
