What do you contribute?
1. Through suitable, integrated software and hardware solutions (e.g. for CCTV, passenger counting, train-to-country communication, Internet on Board, TrainIT), our rail vehicles become part of our customers' integrated digitalisation solutions - As an IT architect (f/m/d) for TrainIT systems, you will play a decisive role in helping to design and integrate the right solutions for our customers.
2. To this end, you will work closely with all project participants from different departments and external suppliers as well as customers and will be responsible for the overall architecture of the TrainIT systems in the vehicle and beyond.
3. You will be responsible for clarifying and coordinating the interfaces between the individual systems (OSI layer of an interface).
4. Furthermore, you create the release planning for our software deliveries and support the integration of the systems.
5. You support the change management process and the flexible reaction to change requests.
What do you bring along?
6. You have a bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science.
7. In addition, you have several years of professional experience in an IT environment in which you were responsible for the complex architectures and their interfaces. This includes both hardware and software.
8. Linux knowledge, as well as network knowledge (Ethernet, routing, DNS, DHCP, etc.) are a must.
9. Knowledge of agile software development is an advantage.
10. You have a very good command of written and spoken English and German.
