Hauptaufgaben Assumes responsibility for the full range of duties in the proper computation of overtime hours under consideration of extended work hours for motor vehicle operators, shift and leave schedules under consideration of current tasks imposed on organization. Monitors trip tickets for determination of work hours. Monitors and evaluates a variety of internal data source and documents, to include trip tickets, DIP Clearance Reports, etc. for determination of work hours. Reviews available documentation (to include trip tickets, tachograph) for determination of driver's entitlement for R8 and severity allowances, start and end time of daily duty tour, on call duty and reviews deficiencies, obtains clarification and/or corrective action. Reports deficiencies to the drivers' supervisor and computes entitlements. Reviews work schedules for stand-by duty in regards T&A related issues and provides overview and data compilation to the supervisor in support of the supervisor's validation process to ensure balanced work assignment and to minimize overtime usage. Prepares and maintains the group's payrolls requiring the retrieval of data in a variety of systems. Based on the sections input provides established work schedules and evaluation of trip tickets; enters such pay and attendance factors as annual, cure, and maternity leave, sick absence, overtime supplements, severity allowances, compensatory time, shift and night work, stand-by duty, maneuver allowance, participation in subsistence, and applicable codes for temporary off-post duty in the applicable systems. Supports supervisors in the monitoring process by providing internal control sheets and data in regards to monthly overtime accrual and sick rates for effective sick absence control and reports to supervisor. Makes recommendations for temporary job reassignments in cases of prolonged sickness. Reviews the section's annual leave schedule and discusses leave usage with assigned employees to avoid bottlenecks in work accomplishments. Based on the defined approval criteria, for annual leave, compiles the leave master plan forecast, and provides pertinent documentation to the supervisor. Prepares and submits standardized templates on leave approvals and disapprovals to the employees. Reviews requests for absence with pay to insure compliance with the stipulations of CTA II Section 28. Manages unit internal significant personnel related files for each employee. Responsible for a correct input of data into LNTAP and the punctual preparing and forwarding of the Final monthly time and attendance report. Provides input for statistical analysis and presentation such as Review and Analysis Prepares and process TDY requests for the entire organization. This includes of preparing travel authorization documents prior to travel and consolidation and compilation of documentation for reimbursement of travel expenses and all documentation supporting the claim. Verifies entitlement for travel allowance referring to operating procedures and a variety of provisions contained in applicable tariff appendix, implementing instructions, and internal guidelines which often require cross-checking or further verification. Verifies and, as appropriate, modifies cost estimates made by submitting element. Assist and advises blue-collar drivers in preparing and completing documentation. Determines, if advance payment was authorized and effected, maintains appropriate suspense file, and considers amount paid in processing of documents. Coordinates with higher level budget sections and with the Office of Defense Cost. Performs other duties as assigned.
