What You Will Do: Responsible to deliver the product according to agreed targets (schedule, Product costs, budget costs, quality) Top level planning and controlling Develops and executes timing, budget and resource plans Responsible to ensure that the product meets performance requirements Responsible to deliver the product according to agreed timing, BOM cost, development budget cost, quality and timing requirements Responsible for transition from prototyping to production incl. ramp-up Responsible for Change Management process (incl. internal/external Change Control Boards) Align technical and commercial program targets with functional departments Responsible for risk assessment and Change Management Technical interface towards OEM-customer for all aspects of technical status, program progress Transition from prototyping to production incl. Ramp-up Active steering during RFI/RFQ-phase to compile feasibility studies and to complete product performance specification Technical interface towards OEM-customer for all aspects of technical status, program progress and product alignment Single point communication for project status reporting, risk assessment, change management, escalation and action plans to HARMAN leadership and customer. Leads the cross functional Team 1 What You Need: University degree in engineering (Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering or appropriate graduation) or equivalent Project Management experience. Minimum 10 years experience in project or line management (team size >150 members) Ability to manage very large multifunctional teams in worldwide locations Strong customer focus required Fundamental knowledge in terms of methodologies in project management Fluent technical and commercial German and English skills Ability to motivate and to communicate Ability to mediate between conflict parties. What is Nice to Have : Proven proficiency of Harman Competencies (Results driven, Team Player, Change Orientation, Customer Focus and Self Awareness) on an excellent level Demonstrated proficiency in Automotive Program Management including understanding of IATF16949, Automotive SPICE and PMI.
