Purpose and general relevance to the organization:
The Corporate Controlling function is an integral part of the company's financial management. It encompasses all aspects of management reporting, financial planning, budgeting, and performance management at the company level. The analyses and reports create transparency for the management and drive both operational and strategic decision-making and resource allocation in our matrix organization Global Sales (Markets and Channels) and Global Brands (Product Categories and Marketing).
The general purpose of this position is to be a financial advisor to the Product Marketing organization by providing adequate reports, analysis and recommendations to support the long-term strategy as well as short term business decisions ensuring profitable business and sustainable growth.
Key responsibilities:
* Enable a fact-based and efficient decision-making process by assisting in the provision of insightful financial analysis and simulations and derived balanced recommendations for senior leadership
* Support performance analysis and validate results to provide BU Originals APP & ACC SLT with the necessary information for decision-making in a timely manner
* Partner with business unit & functional manager in strategic planning and translating BU targets in seasonal and sub-category targets.
* Management of smaller projects and/or active participation in projects; Implementation of the results and ensuring the sustainability of the project results
* Provide financial knowledge to the business unit and act as an interface between x-functional teams and different development locations to drive alignment and to ensure smooth operation of the business
* Application and support in the development and implementation of state-of-the-art analysis tools for the evaluation of business plans and initiatives
* Ensuring that processes and information are in line with company policies
* Implementation of standardized reporting and ad-hoc analyses incl. KPI tracking & dashboarding for financial and operational KPIs
* Support in the preparation of regular and ad-hoc presentations
* Continuous optimization of daily processes, systems and working methods

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

* Good knowledge of MS Excel (PowerBI is a plus)

Required education and experience / minimum qualifications:
* Degree in business administration, finance, economics or accounting
* 1-3 years of professional experience in the field of business administration, finance or controlling
