About your team The Team “Core Platform Application” support our scheduling - and core banking system. We are responsible for the smooth running and system operation and for the 2nd level support. About your role You will be part of a team responsible for the technical implementation and management of the FFB Scheduling System. You will also assist in setting up new clients and implement file transfer jobs. A technical affinity is required for this. You will work on constant enhancements and improvements of the application in close cooperation with the business stakeholders, the external software vendors and the hosting service provider. You will cover the key parts of the software lifecycle, from test preparation, test management and production rollouts to ongoing production support. You will work on projects as well as day-to-day operations. You will also be responsible for performance testing and application optimization to ensure scalability and resilience to meet FFB's growth ambitions. About you Key Responsibilities Technical ownership of scheduling System Technical ownership of core banking systems Covering the aspects of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) from testing, software role-out up to ongoing production operation including weekend coverage (usually Saturdays) 2nd level support: anaylsis of potential incidents and close collaboration with the external software vendor Experience and Qualifications Required Must have: excellent knowledge of scheduling systems (i.e. Control-M ) excellent knowledge of Unix operatings systems and Shell scripting experience knowledge of Container Technologie basic knowledge as application administrator of a core banking system or equivalent (mission-critical) applications ability to communicate effectively in German and English language (both written and oral) flexible, open, and innovative strong team player passion to learn and continuously grow Preferable Skills are: Knowledge in container technologies and CI/CD technologies (i.e. Jenkins, Bitbucket, …) Experience with collaboration tools Atlassian JIRA and ServiceNOW Feel rewarded For starters, we’ll offer you a comprehensive benefits package.
