Your role
The Project Coordinator will be part of Project Coordinators Team in charge of supporting and coordinating research activities of the center, and more specifically will:
* Support the Principal Investigator(s) in the implementation of the newly granted FNR PEARL project in Cybersecurity
* Provide further portfolio/project management and research administration support to the Principal Investigator
* Assist in the identification, acquisition and management of research grants from different national, European and international funding agencies and programmes (FNR, Ministries, Horizon Europe, ESA, etc.)
* Monitor the entire grant life cycle from proposal writing to project execution, reporting and closure.
* Ensure quality assurance and compliance of projects and grants with requirements from internal and/or external stakeholders
* Advise and contribute to financial and human resources allocation
* Be an interface towards the funding agencies in particular for reporting and cost claims
* Ensure internal communication and cooperation with other faculties and the University administration regarding all research related questions
* Track, document and report research related information and data to internal and/or external stakeholders
* Contribute to knowledge and best practices sharing and dissemination
Your profile
* Master degree or equivalent experience in an area relevant to grant and project management
* At least 5 years' experience in a similar role and preferably in externally funded projects
* Proven experience in writing grant proposals and grant management
* Good knowledge of Luxembourgish and EU funding programs
* Project management skills and knowledge of project management principles and best practices Project management certification is an advantage (PM2, PMP, Prince2, etc)
* Fluent in English. Knowledge of French, German and/or Luxembourgish would be appreciated
* Service oriented and problem solving attitude
* Ability to manage multiple projects under strict timelines as well as the ability to work efficiently in a demanding, dynamic and deadline-oriented
* Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
* Real team player used to evolve in a high-level expectation environment
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills suitable for a multicultural environment
