Purpose
We have a very successful residential and commercial Stormwater business in the AMERICAS region that we want to rollout in other regions. As a Product Manager for Stormwater products in the EMEA region, you will play a pivotal role in building and growing the Stormwater product business from the ground up. Your mission is to develop and execute a winning strategy that drives market penetration and development, revenue growth, and customer satisfaction. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, our AMERICAS Water team, external partners, and other stakeholders to create a successful product portfolio.
Your responsibilities:
Business Development
1. Build the Stormwater product business in the EMEA region, using the resources and expertise of our successful Stormwater/Drainage business in the AMERICAS region
2. Conduct thorough market research to understand customer needs, regulatory requirements, and competitive landscape for Residential and Commercial Stormwater
3. Identify gaps and opportunities for Residential and Commercial Stormwater products within the region
4. Identify potential strategic partners, alliances and target companies in the European Stormwater market
Product Strategy & Planning
5. Define a clear vision for Stormwater products aligned with our overall strategy for EMEA Water
6. Develop a comprehensive product roadmap considering market entry, product development, and expansion
7. Prioritize features, enhancements, and new product introductions
8. Be the subject matter expert both technically and relative to the market for Residential and Commercial Stormwater products
Product Development
9. Work closely with Engineering and R&D teams to design and develop the right range of Stormwater products
10. Define product specifications, features, and performance criteria
11. Ensure products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements
Market Positioning & Go-to-Market
12. Plan and execute product line positioning, messaging, and outbound communications to ensure a clear, compelling, and consistent message to internal and external stakeholders
13. Craft compelling value propositions that resonate with potential customers, i.e. specifiers, distributors and professional contractors
14. Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to create go-to-market strategies
15. Collaborate with Marketing team to design marketing and incentive programs to introduce new products, build brand awareness and create a strong preference for NDS products with end users, distributors, specifiers and professional contractors
Sales Enablement & Training
16. Equip the sales team with the necessary knowledge and tools to sell Stormwater products
17. Closely work with Marketing team to develop sales collateral, product documentation, and training materials
18. Participate in customer meetings and presentations
Financial Management
19. Forecast demand for Stormwater products and manage inventory levels
20. Develop and monitor pricing strategies, cost structures, and profitability
21. Track financial performance against targets
Stakeholder Engagement
22. Collaborate with suppliers, distributors, and channel partners
23. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders
24. Address any conflicts or challenges that arise during business development
Requirements for the role:
25. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
26. Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in product management, preferably in Stormwater management, environmental solutions, or related industries
27. Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to create something new
28. Demonstrated success meeting business goals and profitably growing sales
29. Experience collaborating cross-functionally with business leaders to create alignment and support
30. Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking
31. Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities

33. Fluency in English (C1+) required, German or other European languages would be an advantage
34. Ability to travel 25%, mostly within Europe
