Information about the position
Were searching for a Senior in-house Legal Counsel to work on litigation matters.
In this position, youll
1. Manage and drive strategy for litigation and pre-litigation matters on regulatory, consumer affairs, platform regulations, content-related matters and commercial/contractual
2. Advise management stakeholders on litigation strategy and risks
3. Develop creative approaches to managing legal risks and resolving disputes
4. Work with and coordinate outsourced legal counsels in all of our jurisdictions
5. Work closely with business teams (such as Product, PR, Customer Support, and other teams to identify and address relevant legal risks)
6. Build processes with other operational teams (e.g. training, guidelines, etc.) in order to facilitate legal compliance across the company
7. Be the legal POC for the sustainability team
About you
8. Qualification in one bar association
9. A lawyer with 7+ years of experience in a law firm and/or as an in-house counsel in litigation (commercial, platform and consumer-related ideally)
10. Experience managing multiple high priority projects simultaneously
11. Experience managing high stakes, complex litigation
12. Experience dealing with authorities (request for information, etc)
13. Excellent at communicating in spoken and written English
14. Platform-related litigation experience is a strong plus
15. The skills, willingness, and initiative to own legal issues across many different jurisdictions
