TASKS WITH IMPACT
* You lead the IT Accounting & Controlling team and create an environment that fosters collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous development. Your role is to motivate and individually support the team to achieve top performance together.
* You take responsibility for planning, managing, and monitoring all IT-related financial processes, including budget creation, forecasting, and ongoing cost and resource tracking.
* By implementing best practices, you ensure that all financial and compliance requirements in the IT environment are met.
* You oversee financial reporting and analyze financial KPIs for IT projects to provide valuable insights to management.
* With well-founded analyses and reports, you support strategic decisions that optimize the financial performance of the IT department.
* You are responsible for the continuous optimization of the IT cost structure and ensure that resources are used efficiently.
* Together with relevant stakeholders, you identify and realize savings opportunities, thus contributing to increased economic efficiency.
* You work closely with IT and financial management to ensure transparent and effective communication. The goal is to develop innovative and cost-efficient solutions together.
* You monitor the implementation of financial and controlling processes, ensuring they are efficient and compliant.
* In coordination with the accounting department, you ensure that IT-related financial processes are designed for maximum efficiency.
YOUR SKILLS
* A completed degree in Business, Finance, IT, or a comparable qualification.
* Several years of experience in IT Controlling or IT Accounting, ideally with responsibility for budget and cost management.
* In-depth knowledge of IT-specific controlling and accounting processes.
* Experience in managing IT budgets, cost centers, and project finances.
* Proven experience in leading and developing teams, with a focus on motivation and success.
* Strong communication skills in German and English, combined with the ability to present complex concepts clearly and comprehensibly.
* A strong affinity for numbers, paired with excellent analytical skills.
* A structured, self-reliant working style and a high sense of responsibility.
* Experience with modern financial and analytics tools to optimize processes.
* Knowledge of SAP FI/CO, consolidation tools, and best practices in IT Controlling.
* Affinity for new technologies and automation.
