Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at PAUL HARTMANN AG. As a key member of our Procurement Excellence team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our procurement processes and ensuring the optimal performance of our tools and systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Process Support: Provide expert support to our Procurement teams across various functions, ensuring seamless execution of procurement processes.
* Tool Administration: Deliver support and administration of tools and systems post-implementation, guaranteeing optimal performance and user satisfaction.
* Process Design: Assist in the design and optimization of procurement processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency.
* Training and Development: Ensure effective training is delivered for both processes and systems, empowering our teams to excel in their roles.
* Project Coordination: Serve as a key contact for projects within the Procurement Excellence team or when cooperating with other departments, fostering collaboration and driving results.
* Supplier Management: Participate in supplier management through data analysis and documentation, ensuring our procurement activities are aligned with business objectives.
* Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
* Process Governance: Guide and advise process practitioners to ensure best practices are followed, maintaining high standards of procurement excellence.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate processes and advocate for procurement within the business, promoting a culture of procurement excellence.
Requirements
* Education: Completed commercial or technical training, or academic studies (Bachelor's degree).
* Experience: 2-5 years of relevant work experience in procurement or a related field.
* Skills: Solid understanding of processes and organizational goals, fast learning ability, and good self-reflection.
* Project Management: Strong project management skills with the ability to build and motivate teams.
* Collaboration: Experience working collaboratively across functions and in international environments.
* IT Skills: Solution-focused approach to business challenges, proficient in IT tools (SAP).
* Interpersonal Skills: Independent and proactive work style, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to be assertive when needed.
