Their vision is to lead the way to autonomous glass forming, improving the work environment in glass plants and reducing the use of natural resources. Summary of Position: The Project Manager will play a crucial role in planning, execution, and completion of projects related to defining, monitoring and installation of special machinery and services around. Projects will be done under mentorship. This role is ideal for an organized, detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills and a passion for project management in the technical field. Key responsibilities: • Work with and being the interface to customers and internal departments in clarifying and understanding customers’ requirements regarding machine specifications with continuous assessment of technical correctness, feasibility and risks associated with customer’s needs. • Reviews and consults with customers and internal departments on commercial and technical documents related to equipment, accessories, parts and technical services including installations and start-up services, equipment performance guarantees, warranties, and customer training requirements. • Establishes, coordinates, directs and manages project team and schedules from start to conclusion of warranty state. • Identifies and communicates on emerging project deviations and/or customer-initiated changes; coordinating and implementing corrective measures and adjusts project plan as required. • Organizes, maintains and secures the exchange of all project-related documentation. • Regular reporting of project status. • Identifies ongoing customer needs and evaluates additional, new business opportunities and technical assistance or clarification where required. • Work within all rules, guidelines and policies stipulated by management. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering e.g. mechanical, electrical, electronic, mechatronics. • Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field is a plus. • 2-5 years of experience in project management or a related role, preferably in the machinery or manufacturing sector. • Familiarity with project management tools and office software e.g. MS Project, MS Office, IFS. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in an intercultural context. • Ability to work effectively in an international team environment. • Fluent, both written and verbal, in English and German is required. • PMP, PMI or CAPM certification is a plus. Travel: • Regular domestic and international travel is required, therefore a valid drives license is mandatory.
