Description Role As the Global Indirect Tax Manager, you will oversee the Group's indirect tax functions, including VAT, GST, customs duties, and other transaction taxes across Americas, EMEA, and APAC. Reporting to the Group Tax Director, you will ensure compliance, manage tax risks, and drive process improvements in collaboration with regional teams. Responsibilities Indirect Tax Compliance : Ensure accurate and timely VAT, GST, and other indirect tax filings across regions. Work with local finance teams and external advisors to resolve compliance issues. Process Improvement : Optimize indirect tax reporting and compliance processes through automation and best practices. Partner with IT and finance teams to enhance ERP systems for tax functionality. Conduct tax trainings to share updates and good practices Customs and Trade : Oversee customs and trade compliance, ensuring adherence to import/export regulations. Identify opportunities to optimize duty costs through exemptions and trade agreements. Risk Management : Monitor and mitigate indirect tax risks globally. Maintain tax controls and documentation to support audits and disputes. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s/CTA preferred). An additional degree such as MBA Finance or business school education is a plus. 10 years of experience in indirect tax management, with exposure to VAT, GST, and customs in corporate tax, with Big Four, law firm and/or multinational group. Strong knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and tax technology tools. Excellent problem-solving, communication (English, French), and cross-functional collaboration skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and French. Agility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team. Strong analytical, problem solving and presentation skills. Minimum 10 years post qualification work experience International experience is a plus.
