RWE Renewables Europe & Australia GmbH To start as soon as possible, full time, fixed term This is a Fixed Term Opportunity for 18 Months Functional area: Procurement As a Project Procurement Manager for RWE’s growing Onshore Wind, PV, and BESS pipeline in Germany, within our Europe & APAC Procurement Team, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the supplier country strategy for our growth market Germany. Additionally, you will serve as the procurement single point of contact for our Onshore Wind, PV, and BESS projects, taking full responsibility for all EPC and/or BoP contracts during the development and construction phases, while optimising our supply chain activities throughout the entire project lifecycle—both from a project and portfolio perspective. Your Responsibilities: Lead tenders and negotiations for large and complex project contracts in PV, BESS, and Wind, working within multidisciplinary and international teams Responsible for developing, implementing, and executing procurement strategies Manage suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants, including audits and handling complaints Support the execution department in damage management issues Independently develop and implement framework agreements Independently develop and implement active supplier management with vendors for PV, BESS, and Wind BoP contracts Interface management with Category Procurement for PV modules, batteries, and wind turbines, as well as other support functions such as Finance, Risk Controlling, and Legal Develop and implement active stakeholder management in collaboration with colleagues from Development, Engineering, and Service Prepare decision templates, including cost-benefit analyses and risk assessments, based on your extensive market knowledge Your Profile: Several years (typically 3–5) of relevant professional experience in the PV, BESS, and/or wind industry, or in civil engineering—preferably within Germany Extensive experience leading and executing large and complex tenders for PV/BESS/Wind EPC contracts and/or power plant, industrial, or infrastructure projects (Capex / Opex) Experience working within complex, multidisciplinary corporate structures Ability to quickly and effectively build relationships and maintain key stakeholder and supplier relationships Successfully completed university degree in engineering or business administration (or alternative educational path); additional legal qualifications and experience (e.g., VOB contracts) are an advantage Intercultural understanding and experience working with diverse cultures Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in German (C1) and English A "can-do" attitude A great team player Apply with just a few clicks: ad code 89732, application period: 15/04/2025.
