Your Tasks
1. Strategic Planning & Execution: Lead the commercial and customer experience strategy as well as the overall company strategy for the tour operator business
2. Market & Competitive Analysis: Collect and analyze market trends, competitor positioning etc. to develop and evaluate strategic options
3. Business Development: Evaluate new strategic growth opportunities, and identify new markets and business segments within the travel and tourism industry
4. Stakeholder Management: Build collaborative relationships across teams, maintain alignment with corporate strategy, and ensure effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
5. Performance Monitoring: Develop KPIs and monitor the performance of strategic initiatives through data-driven analysis and regular reporting
6. Company Steering: Link strategic long-term goals with annual & quarterly targets processes and facilitate an effective and transparent target steering process across the organization
7. Executive Support: Assist the executive management team in decision-making, strategic prioritization and execution of key initiatives
Your Profile
8. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Strategy, or a related field
9. 5+ years of experience in strategy development, business development, or management consulting within the travel and tourism sector
10. Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset and ability to derive insights from complex information
11. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
12. Ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership
13. Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously
14. Familiarity with strategic planning frameworks and company steering methodologies
