Job Description
We at the Bosch Home Comfort group are a leading provider of heating, ventilation as well as cooling solutions in Europe and beyond. Within the business unit Climate & Wellbeing we bring to market products that significantly improve the wellbeing of people at their homes.
The air conditioning business line is a pillar of the long-term profitable growth strategy for the Home Comfort division. Our spec-and-source business model allows for lean structures while ensuring the execution of a fast go-to-market strategy.
* You are leading a team of international product managers responsible for all residential air conditioning products covering the European markets. You take ownership in defining and executing the optimal strategy to achieve fast market share growth in each country.
* Furthermore, you are in charge of structuring the strategic portfolio of air conditioning products for the assigned regions. In this capacity, you address measures to close portfolio gaps and maximize growth potential as well as profit margin.
* You align portfolio strategy, prices, and profit margin between product area and the relevant country sales organizations, bringing the customer view into creating winning product & service propositions.
* In addition, you support the markets in developing and executing the appropriate channel strategies in alignment with the expansion plans of the product area.
* Last but not least, you take part in our culture: we think as entrepreneurs, act as business owners, and collaborate with no borders.
Qualifications
* Education: university degree in Business Management or Marketing Disciplines
* Experience and Knowledge: many years of experience in a senior product management or marketing function in an international context; leadership experience is a valuable asset; very good command of price steering mechanisms and knowledge of main P&L levers; affinity with UX and design thinking; direct exposure to air conditioning and/or durable consumer products and markets is an advantage.
* Personality and Working Practice: you drive your topics forward in a self-determined manner, act proactively, and are good at structuring your day-to-day work.
* Work Routine: able to travel internationally; you understand and feel comfortable working with foreign cultures across the globe.
* Languages: able to negotiate in English; German and Chinese is an advantage.
