Join us as a Founder of our ‘new’ Sandoz!As Head Business Development International Region, you will drive growth in Sandoz International Region (SIR) by identifying and executing product in-licensing deals in line with Sandoz’ strategy across LATAM, METAR and APAC, and effectively manage the business development associates and teams executing in-licensing deals.Your main responsibilities:Responsibilities include but not limited to:Ensure the timely execution of product in-licensing deals in line with Sandoz’ strategy for SIRCollaborate closely with regional portfolio, launches, strategy and franchises to ensure ongoing projects are in line with regional focus areas and prioritiesEnsure deal execution according to Business Development processes and guidelinesSupport the execution of the complete process of a deal (search, assessment, negotiation, contracting, implementation into project and launch management) in view of a first-to-market strategyEnsure internal cross-functional deal alignment and due diligence in line with applicable internal policies and guidelines, involving all relevant stakeholders (e.g. Commercial Operations, Regulatory, Quality, Legal, Intellectual Property, Sandoz TechOps, Finance)Provide regular reporting on Business Development activities to relevant Regional and Global functionsEstablish/reinforce contacts and position Sandoz as ‘Partner of Choice’ with key partnersKey Performance Indicators include: Number of deals singed and combined launch plus 5-year cumulative sales in line with targets set & Internal business case (CAR) in line with defined internal criteria, including margin targetsWhat you’ll bring to the role:Essential requirements:University Degree in a scientific or business filedFluency in English (written and spoken)Minimum 5 years’ experience in business development and licensing, highly preferred with experience across one or more of these geographies LATAM, METAR and APACMinimum 10 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industryStrong financial modelling and valuations skills and in-depth understanding of main financial valuation methodsStrong hands-on approach combined with business acumen and strategic thinkingProven people management and cross-functional project leadership skillsStrong communication and organizational skillsStrong negotiation skillsComputer literacy Desirable requirementsAdditional languages - Basic level in any of Region International key country languages (Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Japanese)Why Sandoz?Generic and Biosimilar medicines are the backbone of the global medicines industry.
