In this exciting role, you have the opportunity to significantly support the market launch and subsequently actively shape the future of COPD therapies as an Therapeutic Area Lead (w/m/d). You will be anchored in the "Pharma Operations" department. The Pharma Operations department is responsible for the strategic alignment, prioritization, and resource allocation of the various Disease Areas in an increasingly complex portfolio. Colleagues from different areas of expertise form a Disease Area Community. The team responsible for developing the strategy and its implementation for individual indications or entire Disease Areas, creating bold, customer-centric solutions, and making binding decisions, is the "Squad." Squads exist from the pipeline to products that are in market preparation and launch. The COPD Squad consists of members from various areas of expertise within the Disease Area Community who come together for a specific period ("fit-for-purpose"). Your responsibilities: You bear overall responsibility for strategy and implementation within the COPD Squad and convene the members according to the requirements and tasks. Cross-functional leadership of the Squad, revenue and investment responsibility, and developing and working with outcomes (Outcome-Based Planning). Along the patient journey, you develop a national strategy for the Disease Area COPD with the Squad and manage its implementation in Germany. Additionally, you work on the conception and implementation of the international strategy and maintain regular communication with the global team. You conduct effective internal and external stakeholder management and build, maintain, and leverage relationships, e.g., with TAEs. Furthermore, you establish collaborations and networks, e.g., with professional societies and healthcare representatives. You are responsible for transferring new molecules from the pipeline to the DA Squad. Together with the department management and your ISL colleagues, you shape and further develop the culture of collaboration according to our company principles.
