The Solution Architect - Presales works as part of the IFS DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) Presales team and plays a vital role in engaging with key prospects/customers/partners, identifying & properly positioning value-anchored IFS solutions supporting the generation of significant sales revenue for IFS.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting our account executives and partners in all solution related matters regarding IFS Cloud in the area of Finance and Controlling
* Supporting our clients and prospects with expertise about different solution related questions and supporting RFI/RFP answering
* Developing, planning and conducting demonstrations of our solutions for clients and interested parties - putting value in the center
* Taking functional lead and responsibility during the software sales cycle
* Representing the company and our software solution with passion and enthusiasm
Minimum Requirements:
* Solid ERP solution Knowledge
* Comprehensive knowledge in Finance and Controlling especially regarding legal requirements in the DACH region (e.g. for Accounting)
* Preferably 3+ years experience as Presales Solution Consultant
* Basic knowledge about business IT systems such as operating systems, databases and web-technologies as well as knowledge about the software development life cycle and DevOps.
* Sophisticated communication and presentation skills and the enthusiasm to present (sometimes in front of 50 people, including C-Level)
* Experience in dealing with different buying influences in complex sales cycles and how to cover them professionally
* Determination for success and capable to over-achieve your goals with diligence and persistency
* Readiness for business trips (40% per year)
* German (fluent - native) and English language skills (at least business proficient) are mandatory
