Role & Responsibilities As a Business Development Manager, you will: Manage and Grow Client Relationships: Maintain and expand existing accounts, providing exceptional service and exploring growth opportunities. Drive Client Acquisition: Identify and secure new business opportunities to expand the client's portfolio and increase market share in key areas. Lead Offer Preparation: Handle quotations, price calculations, and contract negotiations with clients, shipping companies, partners, and international agents. Develop and Execute Business Strategy: Play a critical role in shaping and implementing strategic initiatives to drive business growth and strengthen the client's regional presence. What the Client is Looking For: Experience: Minimum of 4 years in business development, preferably within ocean freight. Experience in break-bulk or oversized cargo handling is beneficial. Education: Background in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related commercial field. Language Skills: Fluent in both German and English. Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite. Personal Qualities: Self-motivated, adaptable, and resilient with a passion for logistics and intercontinental trade. Driver's License: Class B license required.
