In this exciting chapter of continued growth and expansion for Chase, we’re looking for a passionate Compliance Officer who will provide advice on Compliance matters. In the role you will be part of a great team of Compliance Officers. You will be responsible for advising the business on regulatory topics and internal policies. You will also be responsible for implementing policies, providing trainings and overseeing operational processes relating to Compliance matters. This includes joining the team members to report to relevant governance committees and/or senior management in relation to Compliance risks, design and execute risk mitigation strategies, and manage internal audit and relevant regulatory exams. Job responsibilities: Perform analysis of regulatory requirements and new regulations on an ongoing basis Provide day-to-day Compliance advisory services across the line of business Assist in the creation and maintenance of policies and procedures Assist in performing compliance risk assessment specific to the business and the scope of its activities Investigate compliance issues as needed and report findings back to department managers Assist in the evaluation of new business initiatives, including a risk assessment of regulatory impact and ensuring compliance with internal requirements Collaborate with various teams in gathering information and reviewing responses for regulatory examinations, internal audits, compliance tests and regulatory investigations and inquiries. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills Knowledge of the German regulatory requirements for Banking Industry 3 years’ experience in Compliance with a focus on Retail Banking Industry Experience in drafting compliance policies and procedures, manuals, alerts and updates Ability to articulate complex issues concisely and communicate effectively and comfortably with key stakeholders Excellent communication, relationship building and influencing skills Team and detail oriented with excellent organizational skills Fluent in German and English Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills University degree in law, business, economics or another relevant area Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to establish credibility and strong partnerships with business partners ICBCAREER
