The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. The Purchasing unit is the interface to the supplier market and is thus responsible for a large part of the value creation. The responsibilities range from raw material purchasing to supplier management and plant purchasing to value engineering.
How you will CELLebrate
* Technical field expert for the support and tracking of suppliers for battery cell pre-material
* Responsible for project timeline tracking and ensuring the on-time delivery of the components
* Presentation of work results and project status reports in committees
* Evaluation of suppliers' eligibility for tenders for new projects
* Analyzing the planned manufacturing processes, industrialization concepts and project schedules
* Independent implementation of measures for immediate project milestones follow up
* Ensuring the delivery of battery cell components
* Verification and acceptance of the installed production capacities
* Map interfaces as a technical expert in procurement for other departments
* Independent control of the necessary on-site visits and action plans
What you need for our CELLebration
* Completed technical/university studies with a focus on process engineering, chemistry, mining, physics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or similar.
* Extensive technical understanding of lean production, OEE determination and continual improvement process (CIP)
* Business fluent English skills
* Good handling of MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
* In-depth knowledge of primary materials for battery cell production
* High level of initiative and negotiation skills
* Above-average assertiveness and team spirit
