Hauptaufgaben Working alone or as a team member, serves as Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist with responsibility for performing technical work involved in developing and evaluating quality activities and monitoring quality levels for adherence to the 405th Army Field Sustainment Brigade's (405th AFSB's) quality assurance program. Analyzes status of production, production failure, absence of quality objective evidence, unsatisfactory trends or complaints, and develops recommendations for elimination of unfavorable trends based on study conducted. Visits operating elements to evaluate actual inspection operations, and discusses with operating personnel and supervisors to clarify problem areas in the improvement of operations. Determines the number and type of discrepancies, which attributed by shortcoming in inspection methods, procedures or in the sampling plan, with subsequent changes made in existing plans or methods. Reviews, investigates, and resolves customer quality complaints received by operating activities. Conducts on-site observation, physical examination, and measurements researches technical reference material, and contacts with operating activity to determine acceptability of waivers and deviations. Reviews and evaluates quality waivers and deviations submitted from using organizations or recommended by operating activities. Performs other duties as assigned.
