Based in Waldbronn, Germany, Agilent’s Liquid Phase Division Project Management Office (LPD PMO) is seeking a highly motivated Program/Project Manager (m/f/d) to join our team to drive sophisticated strategic programs/projects within the Life Sciences and Diagnostics Markets Group (LDG).
You will lead programs and projects focused on the development of new, or enhancement of existing products in adherence with compliance requirements. You will be expected to partner with high-level managers to align resources to strategy and provide visibility on execution within the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of program management methodologies, strong leadership skills, deep business sense and the ability to interact with partners at all levels.
Specific responsibilities include:
1. Lead all aspects the planning, execution, and delivery of strategic technical projects
2. Lead geographically diverse, cross-functional project teams, to deliver project objectives including, but not limited to, Marketing, Research and Development, Regulatory, Quality Assurance Manufacturing, Procurement, Sales and Services.
3. Create and maintain program schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
4. Identify and minimise risks to ensure successful program/project outcomes.
5. Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on program status.
6. Ensure alignment of projects with organizational goals and objectives.
7. Facilitate communication and collaboration among project teams and partners.
8. Share Project Management best practices along with mentoring of project managers
9. Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and services provided by the LPD PMO organization
Qualifications
10. Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or similar
11. Several years of relevant project management experience.
12. Strong interpersonal skills in collaboration, negotiation and networking.
13. Demonstrated skill in meeting facilitation, project planning and stakeholder management.
14. Fluent proficiency in German and English
15. Significant experience and proven track record in managing complex technical projects that span multiple organizational boundaries successfully
16. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate through ambiguity.
17. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
18. Proficiency in project management tools and software.
What makes you stand out:
19. PMP or PgMP certification
20. Experience in applying agile methodology, ideally for hardware projects
21. Experience in chemical or life science industry.
22. Knowledge of Agilent HPLC or LCMS instrumentation.
23. Understanding of quality and regulatory requirements required for the development and release of new products.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
