DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this role you will develop and implement new products and specifications in flexible packaging and provide technical support to customers, production and sales teams within your product category. You will directly report into the Head of Product Management Aluminum Category at Constantia Pirk and you will also be located at our plant in Weiden. Among your exciting daily tasks are:
* Be the product expert along intense machine knowledge, packaging and production machinery.
* Translate customer specification into internal specification, define production and quality proof plan.
* Assure proper customer documentation such as DOC and other food law compliance documents.
* Define production processes, implement new product specifications.
* Implement translation of portfolio into a sustainable portfolio.
* Drive, execute and implement sustainable product specifications.
* Continuously improve existing specifications, develop new specifications and innovations.
* Continuously search and implement alternative raw materials to ensure raw material mitigation and margin improvement.
* Coordinate internal trial management, implement new or modified specifications in production.
* Be the technical lead of in- and external Product Management projects.
* Support customers on site with claims together with quality management.
* Assure best technical service at customer.
* Support sales in customer visits through innovations, technical presentations and expertise.
* Manage customer trials and implement new or modified specifications at customer packaging line.
* Be the technical lead of and manage customer projects.
* Close cooperation with the Ecolutions Taskforce.
* Introduce and implement new products at customers.
TECHNICAL ATTRIBUTES:
* Technical background with ~2 years’ experience in Product Management and/or Application Engineering
* Experience within the flexible or rigid packaging industry is preferable.
* First practical experience in Project Management
* Fluent in English and German (oral and written)
