Purpose of the Job: To lead and manage our online sales channels in Germany. This role is pivotal in driving the growth of our digital platforms, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and aligning with the company's digital and business goals. Job Functions: The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of e-commerce operations, consumer behavior, and data-driven decision-making. Responsibilities: E-Commerce Strategy and Execution Develop and implement a comprehensive e-commerce strategy aligned with business goals. Oversee the end-to-end management of e-commerce platforms, including websites and mobile apps. Drive online sales growth by optimising the digital customer journey and implementing best practices. Digital Marketing and Analytics Collaborate with the digital marketing team to design and execute campaigns focused on customer acquisition, retention, and conversion. Utilize data analytics to track, measure, and report on KPIs, identifying areas for improvement. Leverage SEO, SEM, and other digital tools to maximize visibility and traffic. Customer Experience and Engagement Ensure a seamless and user-friendly experience across all digital touchpoints. Monitor customer feedback and reviews to improve services and offerings. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management Liaise with external vendors, agencies, and partners to ensure timely delivery of projects and initiatives. Manage budgets and negotiate contracts related to e-commerce tools and services. Technology and Innovation Stay updated on emerging e-commerce technologies and trends to recommend and implement innovative solutions. Oversee the integration of e-commerce platforms with backend systems with CRM, GA, POS, aggregators etc Knowledge & Skills Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, Computer Science or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus. 5 years of experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or a related role, preferably in the retail or QSR industry. Proven track record of managing and growing e-commerce platforms. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, PowerBI/Tableau, or equivalent. Knowledge of SEO, SEM, CRM, Loyalty etc. Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and CMS systems. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Fluency in English; German language proficiency is a plus. Preferred: QSR, franchise model or media agency experience
