A Software Architect is sought by this leading electronic systems design organisation to be based at their R+D Centre in Munich (Milan or Paris would also be acceptable). Working in the Industrial / Automotive division, the Software Architect will be responsible for architecting and designing complex functional safety and safety-critical software architectures conforming with ISO26262 and IEC61508 aimed at the emerging ADAS market. The Software Architect will be working with multiple design and development teams and customers ensuring the specification and architecture is fit for task.
Having completed your technical education, you will have gained several years of experience developing object-oriented software in C and C++ under RTOS aimed at EDA flows and tools. Your background will also include a successful track record of delivering efficient software architectures for industrial or automotive applications. You must have some exposure to Functional Safety concepts, analysis, and compliance (FMEA/ FMEDA) and also knowledge of ISO26262 and/or IEC61508. Experience developing software and architectures for EDA tools is essential and any exposure to Isograph or Ansys Medini would be beneficial.
This position can be based in Munich, Paris or Milan.
