We’re looking for a people-focused and technically skilled Information Technology Operations Manager (m/f/x) to lead and grow our internal Helpdesk team capabilities. In this key role, you’ll lead and develop a team of six vibrant and friendly specialists, drive the evolution of our IT infrastructure, and ensure our systems are secure, modern, and reliable. If you enjoy combining strategy with hands-on technical oversight and want to make a visible impact in a collaborative environment—this would be a great next step You’ll get to take ownership of: Leading and developing a six-person IT Operations team, including resource planning and team structure design. Defining and executing the IT Operations strategy in close collaboration with the IT leadership team. Ensuring stable, secure, and continuously improving IT infrastructure across on-prem and AWS cloud environments. Overseeing internal IT support and maintaining a high level of service quality. Planning and delivering modernisation projects and system integrations. Establishing ITIL-based processes and managing IT security, compliance, and risk. Defining and tracking KPIs while overseeing incident and change management. We’d love to meet someone with: A degree in (business) informatics or a related field. 5 years of experience in IT operations, including team leadership expertise. Solid knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud platforms (preferably AWS), Windows/Linux systems, and network/security principles. Experience with service management and process automation, including relevant certifications like ITIL, AWS, and Azure. A strategic and structured mindset, strong leadership and communication skills, and fluency in German and English. A service-oriented and solutions-driven approach with a focus on quality and collaboration.
