Bolt is seeking a Junior Safety Specialist (OHS) to lead the implementation of Bolt’s Integrated Management System within our German and Switzerland operations, based in Berlin. The Bolt products available in Germany include ride-hailing, carsharing, micromobility (e-scooters/e-bikes) and Bolt Food, and in Switzerland ride-hailing and micromobility (e-scooters/e-bikes). Main Tasks and Responsabilities: You hold an engineering qualification (2 yrs exp, 1 yr for safety engineers), OR have passed a technician/master craftsman exam (2 yrs exp), OR have 4 yrs relevant experience without the exam. Acting as the primary H&S contact for employees, management and authorities, and conducting audits, identifying improvement actions and ensuring standardisation across operations. Preparing OHS training for employees, maintaining a training register and ensuring regular re-training obligations are met. Project managing delivery of assigned country specific and global tasks within Bolt’s Risk and Safety strategy, including tracking and reporting on project progress. Supporting additional specific countries with implementation and internal compliance of H&S topics. About you: You have a professional qualification as an engineer (e.g. university or technical college degree) and have completed at least two years of practical work in this profession (if “safety engineer”, then one year of practical work experience is sufficient. You have successfully completed a state-recognized examination as a technician and have worked as a technician for at least two years You have successfully passed a master craftsman’s examination and have worked as a master craftsman for at least 2 years OR you have worked as a state-recognized technician or master craftsman or in an equivalent function for at least 4 years without passing the examination. You have demonstrated understanding and application of German OHS legislation. You have a professional level fluency in English and German languages. Willingness and commitment to complete the ‘Sicherheitsfachkraft Ausbildung’ during employment (training will be supported by the company).
