If so, Arrow Electronics has anexciting opportunity for a Value-add Services Director for theEuropean region. This position will be responsible for leading thestrategic and tactical planning for Arrow value-added business inEMEA. This includes but is not limited to supporting the growth ofour device programming business, end-to-end ownership of theoutsourced service business, and advanced manufacturing services,as well as oversight and support of the AIS business in theregion.
This position serves as an integralmember of the management team to drive innovation, customerexperience, gain market share, improve productivity, and enhanceprofitability and cash flow.
WhatYou'll Be Doing:
* Providestrategic direction, and leadership across diverse teams inmultiple related businesses to drive competitiveadvantage
* Be accountable for managing thespecific P&L's for each of the organizations and ensuring allmetrics are achieved or re-calibratedstrategically.
* Develop key strategic andtactical working relationships with leaders to facilitateinformation sharing and shared accountability in a matrix-basedbusiness
* Assign activities and projects to meetvarious customer, supplier, and distributionneeds.
* Measure and monitor progress ondeliverables to ensure best in classservice
* Capture, report and understand thevarious costs and cost drivers to implement improvement programswhere synergies exist among all value-addbusinesses.
* Develop customer and supplier (EMS)relationships to enable the expansion of business inEurope
* Maintain an understanding of all corebusiness processes for your supported business group and driveinitiatives for continuous improvements andprocesses.
* Work as a "business partner" tobuild relationships, understand needs, and offer solutions throughcollaboration with key functional leaders in finance, operations,sales, etc.
* Support qualifying leads andunderstand customer processes, issues, and costs to determine howArrow's services can deliver value tocustomers
* Maintain knowledge of and ensure alloperations comply with applicable environmental, health, safety,and other regulatory rules and regulations (DOT, HIPAA,etc.).
* Build a talent pipeline and enhance theskills of the organization (e.g., process engineering, materialsmanagement, forecasting and scheduling, suppliermanagement)
WhatWe Are Looking For:
* Proventrack record of creating high performanceteams
* Typically requires a minimum of 15-yrsexperience and a bachelor's degree in supply chain management,engineering or related field; or 12-yrs and an advanced degree; orequivalent experience.
* Strong financialmanagement skills including monthly, quarterly, and annualfinancial statements.
* In-depth knowledge ofEMS, PCBA, PCB, and device programmingservices
* Strong understanding of supply chainmanagement
* Must be able to travel regionally30% of thetime
