Senior Technical Sales Manager - Cosmetic Active Ingredients (m/f/d)

Do you want to actively shape the success story of Ectoin® while taking responsibility for international partners and key accounts?

Sales & Key Account Management: You are responsible for the sales and marketing activities of our global distribution partners within the cosmetics industry (Cosmetics & Personal Care) and additionally manage selected high-revenue direct customers (Key Accounts) independently.
Client Training: You regularly train the sales teams of our distribution partners on product features, sales arguments, and application possibilities of our cosmetic active ingredients.
Marketing & Communication: You support the marketing team in creating target group-specific content, such as product documentation, brochures, and presentations. Moreover, you regularly write scientific articles for trade magazines and give presentations at national and international fairs and conferences.
Strategy: You continuously observe and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive activities, and develop promising growth strategies for our active ingredients based on these insights.
Fairs & Representation: You represent our company at the most important international trade fairs, seminars, and conferences of the cosmetics industry, establish new contacts, and maintain existing business relationships.
Collaboration: You work closely with internal departments such as Logistics, Production, Quality Control, Finance, and especially Marketing to ensure the smooth implementation of customer projects and product strategies.
Education & Practical Experience
You have a successfully completed degree in business or natural sciences, ideally in Chemistry or Biology.
You have at least 4 years of professional experience in the Cosmetics & Personal Care sector, ideally with active ingredients or fine chemicals.
Work Methodology
You are a flexible team player with a high energy level and a "Can-Do" mentality.
You have a high customer orientation and work very precisely, yet swiftly, independently, and particularly structured.
Your high standard of quality drives you to continuously seek opportunities for improvement.
You enjoy customer contact and look forward to international travel (about 45%).
Hard Skills
You are proficient in using the Microsoft Office suite.
You possess excellent communication skills and are fluent in both German and English.
