We are seeking an Operations Leader to manage our external workbenches and to lead the performance of our outsourced operations. Based in Belecke (Germany) in hybrid mode. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain and operation, contributing to the overall success of AEG Power Solutions. This position requires relocation to our factory in Belecke-Warstein, Germany. Aminating our external Workbenches and leading performance for our outsourced activities: OTD, quality, efficiency Coordinating and overseeing the day-to-day activity, timely escalation and resolution of all potential and actual issues. Managing prioritization and escalation for outsourced activities Defining with the operation manager the strategy for outsourcing and communicating workload for external workbenches Optimizing interface with external workbenches, redefining with each workbench the supply strategy between localization and material kitting Leading development of the external workbenches for AEG power solutions: identification, assessment and evaluation of potential subcontractors Defining introduction process for new external workbenches and execute it to support successful partners ramp ups/downs and transitions to achieve goals consistently. Optimizing External partner activities to improve productivity and lead times. Design and implement new concepts, principles, and methodologies to improve Outsource partner's accountability and results including forecasts, scheduling, leadtimes, quality etc. Identify and remove roadblocks to success outside of Outsource partner's control. Contribute to peer success through collaboration, creativity and giving critical constructive feedback. Close collaboration with internal departments such as procurement, production, R&D, quality control, and logistics. Representing the operations team in various projects. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field. Minimum 2 years of experience in senior manufacturing/supply chain positions, especially for Industrial assembly Operations. Proven experience in operation and supervision of SLA/Contracts, cost analysis and Make/Buy scenarios. Track record in developing and managing manufacturing capacities in different countries is a plus. Willingness to travel internationally (10%) and work in a multicultural environment. Strong organizational skills and the ability to coordinate complex projects and set priorities. Fluent in English written and spoken, B2 level of German is a plus. Proficiency in SAP system. High communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills. Attention to detail as well as the ability to think analytically and strategically. Presentation skills, ability to convey complex information in a straightforward manner to Senior Management. Proven time management skills and ability to be flexible. Strong planning, problem solving, project management and stakeholder management. Ability to work on own initiative and to meet deadlines.
