Job Description
* You will be supporting local and corporate QA teams in all matters QA! This means being the primary point of contact for QA matters in your designated area. This will include Supply Chain, Marketplace, Food Service Distribution (FSD) operations, and 1-2 FSD Companies.
* You provide support with standard implementation (LSP’s, FSD’s and Platforms), providing technical manuals, educational material and trainings and supporting in the development of IT tools that help implement new QA requirements.
* You will maintain a global system to ensure compliance with global QA standards across METRO/MAKRO countries and external Logistic Service Providers.
* You will conduct warehouse assessments in various countries.
* You will oversee incident and crisis cases for the FSD companies you advise, providing technical assessments and guidance to enhance QA structures and efficiency.
* You welcome and onboard FSD Quality Managers across the Metro Network and ensure they are provided with everything needed and a touchpoint with our vivid QA community.
* You use KPI’s and review them to ensure continuous improvement.
* You will support FSD companies in getting GQA approval for our Own Brand meat production.
Qualifications
* You bring robust expertise and a genuine passion for Quality Assurance (QA) and the world of Food Wholesale.
* You have a track-record of a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in QA operations with experience in HACCP and PRP along with a proven track record in implementing a Quality Management System.
* You are a great communicator; you are able to collaborate with people from different backgrounds and know how to build rapport for QA topics.
* You are a problem-solver, fast at connecting dots and
* You bring a comprehensive understanding of QA requirements in the Multichannel Food World. You understand supply chains, productions and know which Quality and safety standards matters.
* You know how to work with QA manuals and standards and apply them to real-word processes.
* You are backed up with technical food knowledge – ideally from food quality or safety background.
* Fluent English skills are a must, other European languages a plus!
