The SMM will: - Create the commercial strategy for the Europe Municipal business, working cross-functionally to incorporate Sales and Service, Product Management and Innovation, Demand Generation and Branding, and Operations in achieving growth targets - Drive cross-functional alignment on growth strategies and ensure the teams are translating strategies to action effectively - Work with the Product Management and Demand Generation teams to create new product commercialization plans including target personas, sales metrics, downstream marketing strategy, and sales enablement tools; and regularly review existing go-to-market strategies to accelerate growth This position is part of our global Marketing and Strategy Department and will be located in Germany, France or UK and will be remote. In this role, a typical day will look like: - Lead the annual Commercial Planning process for the Europe Municipal business and partner with cross-functional teams to translate strategies to action, ensuring objectives are met throughout the year - Gain an intimate understanding of customer problems through primary and secondary research and effectively communicate insights to inform strategies and tactics - Lead the research and assessment of current and future market conditions/dynamics including macro factors, competitive landscape, industry trends, and customer needs, then translate findings into insights, strategy, and tactics - Effectively problem solve when targets are not being met, either by leading the process directly or by motivating/supporting cross-functional teams in their problem-solving efforts - Implement relevant Veralto Enterprise System tools to accelerate growth and improve process excellence - Identify opportunities for Trojan to expand into adjacent and transformational applications/technologies and markets/segments - Provide key insights and direction to the Product Management and Product Innovation teams to create Trojan's 5-year product roadmap - Performs other duties as required The essential requirements of the job include: - Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other advanced Marketing degree preferred. - 5 years' relevant experience, preferably in sales & marketing, corporate strategy, and/or product management - Strategic and growth-oriented mindset, collaborative working style, and customer centricity - In-depth knowledge of the European Municipal Water sector is a plus - Fluent in English; proficiency in German or French is a plus - Ability to travel 25-50% of the time depending on time of year and business priorities/objectives Trojan Technologies is proud to part of the Water Quality segment of Veralto (NYSE: VLTO), a $5B global leader dedicated to ensuring access to clean water, safe food and medicine, and trusted essential goods.
