The Senior Project Manager Global Network Strategy is a key role in adidas Global Supply Chain, which contributes to ensuring adidas Group distribution network develops in line with our business growth and that it provides us with a competitive edge. This is achieved through driving supply chain network studies, in close collaboration with Market and Global functions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Network Studies & Capacity checks for individual countries and actively support Director of Network Planning during regional network projects & programs.
2. Develop Network recommendations in close partnership with market SCM & Global partners.
3. Develop & improve Network simulation models.
4. Coordinate business case development & “Make or Buy” (insource / outsource) evaluation in collaboration with Finance, Global partners, and Market CSM.
5. Prepare & deliver presentation to Senior Management summarizing outcome of Studies to enable decision making.
6. Finalize all activities across the projects/programs while ensuring key tasks are handed over and documents are approved, completed, maintained, and stored appropriately.
7. Initiate & support continuous improvement activities aiming at improving network team efficiency, competencies, and scope.
8. Gain understanding of Inbound, customs, distribution, deployment, and transportation capabilities across adidas markets.
9. Act as a trusted partner to supply chain teams and other global functions; Provide ad-hoc support and insights where needed.

22. Proven track records on wide areas of tools (MS-Excel/PowerPoint, Llamasoft or similar supply chain design tools, Smartsheet, PowerBi, Project Management tools).
23. You own your development and believe in lifelong learning.
Qualifications
24. Four-year college or university degree with focus on Supply Chain Management
25. Minimum 5+ year experience within project management, strategy, operations, network planning in SCM preferable
26. Strong experience managing complex projects related to warehousing, distribution, transportation or process re-engineering.
27. Project management certification an advantage
