Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated engineering student, possibly with ergonomics/biomechanics background, as a working student for six-months. The successful candidate will be involved in R&D activities, with a focus on design of parts, prototyping, lab testing and user feedback activities within our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in research and development activities, contributing to the development of innovative medical solutions:
1. Background research : Perform literature review and user interviews
2. Design: Draw new technical solutions in the field of medical devices, utilizing engineering principles and techniques and by using CAD software
3. Prototyping and 3D printing: Create prototypes using 3D printing
4. Testing: Conduct rigorous testing of prototypes to ensure functionality and reliability
5. Validation: Evaluate the design through user feedback sessions
Qualifications:
6. Currently enrolled in an accredited Engineering Master Program (preferably biomedical engineering)
7. Background in ergonomics, human factors engineering or similar is a plus
8. Proficient in using CAD software (as Inventor)
9. Strong interest in the medical field
10. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
11. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
12. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
13. Fluent in English (written and spoken)
