The Enterprise Architect partners with Account, Technology, and Application sales teams to qualify and secure transformational business opportunities aligned to Oracle Cloud Applications. The successful candidate brings deep experience working for or with a SaaS vendor and excels in driving high-impact enterprise strategies in complex sales cycles. Acting as a trusted advisor, they influence executive decision-makers (C-level) through their consultative approach, domain expertise, and ability to design and articulate forward-looking cloud architectures. Objectives: As a member of Oracle Continental Europe Enterprise Architects organisation, you will be measured on the following metrics: · Increasing revenue and market-share growth for Oracle Cloud applications in Continental Europe region · Increasing Oracle’s win/ loss ratio · Increasing the average deal size · Elevating the quality of sales and shortening of sales cycles · Strengthening of customer satisfaction Job Description: As a strategic member of the Oracle Continental Europe (CE) Client Engagement team, the Enterprise Architect will drive business value for CE-based customers through enterprise-wide application architecture strategies aligned with transformational goals. The ideal candidate brings a unique blend of strategic pre-sales influence, deep enterprise architecture experience, and a strong background working at or with SaaS vendors. This individual will engage customers at the C-suite level to drive business transformation initiatives leveraging Oracle’s cloud portfolio. Key Responsibilities: · Act as a trusted advisor at account level, shaping enterprise architecture strategies that align with the customer’s long-term objectives. · Partner with pre-sales, business value directors, industry experts, and consulting architects to deliver end-to-end application solution architectures for large-scale transformations (ERP, HCM, CX, SCM), powered by Cloud and innovation technologies (e.g., AI, GenAI and AI Agents). · Operate across Lines of Business (LoBs) to design comprehensive architecture frameworks encompassing static, operational, and transformation architecture layers, supported by business capability roadmaps. · Establish and maintain long-term, strategic relationships with C-level stakeholders (CIO, CTO, Chief Digital Officer, Chief Architect), acting as a key influencer in their digital and cloud strategy formulation. · Leverage prior SaaS vendor experience to provide differentiated insights into best practices, competitive positioning, and scalable solution patterns. · Capture, standardize, and promote architecture designs internally for reuse and evangelization across the Oracle ecosystem, influencing product direction and services propositions. · Collaborate with other Oracle architects, platform specialists, solution engineers, and customer cloud success teams in orchestrating and delivering impactful enterprise solutions. · Represent Oracle in public forums, social media, industry events, and customer workshops to enhance thought leadership and market visibility. Qualifications: · University degree in Computer Science or a related field. · Demonstrated experience at a leading SaaS vendor (Oracle or competitor) in a customer-facing, strategic role. · Proven track record as a (Lead) Enterprise Architect, CTO, or Head of Architecture. · Extensive technical and functional expertise in SaaS (ERP, HCM, CX, SCM), AI and Digital Transformation initiatives. · Strong experience in pre-sales or consultative roles influencing C-level stakeholders and shaping enterprise-wide cloud strategies. · Comprehensive understanding of modern business platforms and their associated use cases. · Familiarity with Oracle applications and technology stack preferred. · Fluent in English; local language skills are a must · Willingness to travel across the European region. Required Skills: · 10 years of experience in enterprise architecture, large-scale systems design, and delivery in real-world environments. · Broad knowledge of IT market trends and Cloud transformation approaches. · Expertise in strategic solution design and implementation methodologies. · Strong consultative and presentation skills with executive stakeholders. · Some knowledge of Oracle and competitor SaaS ecosystems, cloud architecture, and industry solutions. · High-impact communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. · Proactive leadership, with the ability to influence internally and externally across diverse teams. Provides specific industry or product expertise to facilitate the closing of deals within sales representatives territory. Interacts with sales team to architect the solution, and develop and execute solution strategies for market. Manages solution opportunities to obtain appropriate and necessary resources for all qualified opportunities. Leads teams in the sales process for establishing market visibility and deal visibility. Presents/demonstrates solution to high level clients and industry conference attendees. May provide training to field sales on industry/solutions. Builds and maintains a network and up to date specific industry or product knowledge.
