The Finance Directorate is looking for the Head of Finance & Control of the Liquid Propulsion Programmes.The missions of the Liquid Propulsion Programmes include the management and development of the liquid propulsion product lines with an end-to-end perspective from development to production and services, the management of the interfaces with the industrial partners and suppliers, the innovation, and the management of the relationship with the clients and the stakeholders.The successful applicant will join the Finance & Control team for Space Transportation Programmes. Her/his role ensures the accuracy of the financial reports and the compliance with standards, drives cost efficiency, and supports strategic decision-making through accurate financial insights. As a member and as the finance representative of the Liquid Propulsion Integrated Programme Team, she/he will be responsible to project and measure the financial performance of the various programmes, at different stages of maturity, serving different launcher projects (internal & external) and different institutional customers. Based out of our Vernon site (Greater Paris area), she/he will be part of a multi-site Franco-German team.Your mains tasks for your area of responsibility include:Organize and deliver key financial planning processes (e.g. estimate at completion, medium term plan, annual budget, rolling forecasts) in your perimeter in accordance with Company requirementsMonitor, control & report on programme execution, from work package (incl. workload) to full contract (order intake, revenues, costs and programme gross margin, cash)Identify deviations vs. plan, analyze and challenge proposed alternatives (incl. impacts on cost, schedule, risks); contribute to the programme competitivenessManage a team of 4 controllers and coordinate a multi-site Franco-German Finance teamSupport business development, commercial bids preparation and the modelling of new business modelsProvide financial insights and recommendations to the leadership team to support strategic decision-making.Coordinate with Programme Support team on management of risks & opportunities as well as schedulingPrepare and contribute to programme routines (be the Finance representative in the multi-functional programme team)Collaborate across functions to ensure alignment of financial strategies with business objectives.Support audits (institutional, statutory, and internal)Contribute to the improvement/transformation of processes & tools in close coordination with initiatives at Finance as well as at Company levelThe ideal candidate combines strong technical financial expertise with leadership skills to drive business performance and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.10+ years of progressive experience in finance and controlling, with at least 3 to 5 years in a senior leadership role, in a industriel environmentEducated to degree level in Business Administration, Engineering or equivalentExpertise / strong experience in modelling, costing, programme controllingExcellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to develop and lead a diverse team in a matrix organizationStrong adaptability to work in a fast-paced, complex and evolving business environment.Ability to work in an international team environment in particular between France & GermanyLeader with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
