About the Role An integral member of the Clinical Solutions and Global Medical Education Contracts (Account Support) Team. Working in partnership with your regional manager and EMEALA Clinical Solutions and Global Medical Education Sales teams. Responsible for executing on contracting and sales support processes for both new, transactional and renewal sales. In addition to responding to customer queries regarding all processes. Responsibilities Working collaboratively across a global team. With cross-functional stakeholders, such as Contracts Managers, Legal Counsels, Business Controllers and Collections, Product Development and other stakeholders. Ensuring the end-to-end processes are executed on the most efficient and effective way for both Elsevier and the customer; Participating in the development and fulfilment of contract requirements in the purchase or sale/delivery of Elsevier products; Evaluating contract compliance and advising others on contractual rights and obligations. Including facilitating amendments to contract terms or contract extensions; Assisting in preparation of bids or requests for proposals (RFPs). Including specifications and requirements Negotiates contract terms and participates in the determination of acceptable bids; Serving as the main contact for the customer. This includes queries related to agreement status, invoicing, title reconciliation, and clarification of subscription terms. Providing information to customers regarding validation of purchase history, solution access de-activation, usage statistics, and Elsevier pricing models, etc.; Coordinating large complex deal alignment and efforts to facilitate discussions across various internal stakeholders. Delivering proposals and agreements that both are compliant with our policies and capture the customers? requirements; Processing and invoicing on time according to the defined targets of your team?s assigned territories; Engaging stakeholders, leadership, and cross-functional support in order to progress business in as meaningful and efficient manner as possible. This includes participating in Projects and Continuous Improvement efforts. Requirements Have a secondary education from an accredited college or equivalent. Coupled with a depth of experience in Contract Administration, Sales Operations, Renewals Sales or Order Management; Be fluent in English and Portuguese. We're looking for candidates based in the Netherlands or Mexico; Have exceptional communication and collaboration skills; Be a self-starter who can anticipate business needs and fulfill on them in a proactive manner; Display excellent organizational, analytical and contract drafting abilities. This includes understanding their structures and negotiation tactics; Have prior experience with Microsoft Office products. Including Excel and related reporting functionalities; Have prior experience in the use of ERP tools like Oracle, SAP, Salesforce.com or Siebel CRM.
