What’s it all about?
The Consultant (based in Frankfurt ) will report to our Senior Migration Consultant (Card issuance and Portfolio Conversion) and will be part of our Visa Solution Team. The Consultant will promote and deliver projects that help Visa clients convert their customers from one card to another (‘Portfolio Conversion’). The Consultant will work towards the team’s goals and assist in the delivery of, analysis, insight and practical recommendations to enable successful delivery of client-facing projects.
What we expect of you, day to day.
The VCA Solutions team is responsible for the development, promotion and delivery of scalable and repeatable Consulting Solutions that satisfy common client needs. The Consultant will act as a subject matter expert (SME) on Portfolio Conversions to develop and deliver services that enable our clients across Europe to convert their customers seamlessly from one product to another. The Consultant will also support our VCA Europe goals more broadly across the region. The role will report to the Sr Consultant (Card issuance and Portfolio Conversion ), as part of our VCA Europe practice.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Consultant will act as SME and point of contact for teams across Europe that enable new and existing clients to convert their customers from one card product to another seamlessly and profitably. This might include the development of Card holder migration end to end strategy, Processor Product integration, cardholder communication plans, design of new propositions including digital journey and ensuring client’s technical and operational readiness before converting their customers to new propositions.
2. Define and Propose Visa Digital Product solutions for migration Journey. Act as Catalyst for Visa Value Added Services.
3. Working together with the sales and product teams as well as the Client Service implementation teams
4. Support the development of Global VCA services and capabilities to support our client’s migration of customers
5. Monitor and tracking the delivery of high-value consultancy engagements across Europe
Set and manage the project budgets
Coordinate multiple projects across Europe
Customer Communications and Marketing Campaigns.
Manage rollout of post conversion support.
6. Help to intensify the business relationships between Visa and its key clients
7. Support VCA Solutions Team and the broader VCA Europe team in achieving its objectives
8. Support Visa Consulting and Analytics practice development by developing skills, tools and innovative methodologies on personal and on team level
What we’re after…
9. Experience in card issuance and or portfolio conversions gained in retail banking and/or payment card industry. Digital Onboarding experience is Plus.
10. Knowledge of payment card and banking operations (e.g., Card Lifecycle, Customer Communications and Marketing Campaigns, UX knowledge ).
11. Previous experience in consulting or payment project delivery is ideal, with proven project delivery know-how and expertise in consulting methodologies
12. Available to work onsite with clients preparing for and/or managing portfolio conversions
13. Knowledge of at least 2 leading Processing Platforms in Europe.
14. Understating of API integrations to new Digital Product Stack
15. Understanding of Payment Value Chain.
16. Excellent client relationship management skills/Project Management (also on senior executive level and across all levels of an organisation)
17. Strong knowledge of Campaign Management.
18. Deep sales orientation, experience selling major projects/ideas to senior management
19. Fluent in English (written & verbal).
20. Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal) including an ability to comprehend and convey complex technical information
21. Business acumen and analysis Skills (research and analyse market and client information to tell a story)
22. Curiosity & willingness to learn and develop as a professional
23. Ability to travel
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
