Van Oord is seeking an experienced Chief Officer for a permanent position on their offshore jack-up vessels fleet.

Function description
For Van Oord, we are currently searching for an experienced Chief Officer with strong offshore and jacking expertise to join an advanced jack-up vessel fleet. This permanent role offers an opportunity to advance your career within a global leader in marine construction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Jacking Operations: Independently conduct jacking operations to ensure safe and precise positioning.
* Operational Management: Collaborate with the Captain and crew to ensure smooth and efficient offshore operations.
* Crew Leadership: Support crew management, promoting teamwork and readiness.
* Safety Compliance: Maintain Van Oord's high safety standards in all activities.
* Onboarding Support: Participate in an onboarding program to ensure a seamless start.
Requirements
* Chief Mate Certificate of Competency
* Dutch Endorsement
* Valid STCW certification for the position
* BOSIET/FOET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training)
* DPO Unlimited Certification
* Offshore Medical Certificate and MLC
* Relevant Offshore Experience (especially on jack-up vessels)
* Fluent English in word and writing
