Your in-depth knowledge of English-language business communication and your professional experience will enable you to successfully implement integrated modules and projects in business studies. You are a highly motivated individual (m/f/d) with academic expertise and professional experience in English business communication. You have experience and in-depth knowledge in the following areas: At least 3 years of teaching experience in English as a foreign language (at a university, in management coaching or comparable fields) In-depth knowledge of business practices and economics Development of curricula and teaching materials for English as a foreign language (at a university, in management coaching or comparable fields) Experience in teaching intercultural communication for business and management Advanced German proficiency for teaching and active participation in administration (minimum level B2 or comparable) Native-level proficiency in English Research in business administration, Business English, linguistics or intercultural communication or related field, evidenced by relevant publications Experience in successful acquisition of third-party funding is desirable Integration of technologies into foreign language teaching and acquisition (particularly experience with and knowledge of AI-supported methods for language acquisition) are desirable Professional experience in an international setting is desirable You are passionate about teaching, research, and knowledge transfer. In addition, you participate in research projects and in the field of knowledge and technology transfer. For the professorship, you need: A completed university degree, preferably in linguistics, intercultural communication, business, economics, or a comparable field Teaching competence and pedagogical aptitude. Suitable candidates will be invited to give a sample lecture Strong aptitude for scholarly work, demonstrated by a doctoral degree or evaluation of a comparable academic qualification Qualification in the practical application or development of scholarly knowledge and methods with at least 5 years of professional experience after graduation with a first degree of which at least 3 years must be in a field beyond higher education or vocational training. Evidence of professional practice beyond the academic sector can, in exceptional cases, be provided if a significant part of the professional work has been carried out in cooperation between the university and non-academic professional practice for a period of at least five years.
