We're seeking a Freelance Creative Copywriter to craft compelling, memorable narratives that resonate with technical audiences, increase brand awareness and desire, and ultimately drive market adoption. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our Marketing and Sales teams to develop high-impact campaigns, create engaging content, and shape our brand voice across various channels. Your creative initiatives will help establish SPREAD's thought leadership, demonstrate our expertise in engineering intelligence, engage our technical audience, and strengthen our brand presence across channels like LinkedIn and YouTube. This role is critical to building meaningful connections with our target audience while maintaining the perfect balance between technical accuracy and creative storytelling. Your Mission Create engaging content Develop compelling and creative concepts, campaigns, and copy for our communication channels, mainly LinkedIn and YouTube, that captures attention, builds brand awareness, and reinforces SPREAD’s positioning as a thought leader among our target audience. Craft bold, innovative messaging that translates complex topics (e.g. AI, engineering, digital twins, knowledge graphs) into clear, engaging, and actionable narratives. Content activation & execution Work together with our Content Marketing Manager, Growth Marketing Manager, Senior Graphic Designer, and other relevant stakeholders, to ideate and execute creative campaigns aligned with SPREAD’s marketing objectives, while ensuring that messaging and copy aligns with our brand tone and voice. Develop strong story angles to amplify our content initiatives, including video script outlines, short and long-form text content briefs, and messaging frameworks for social media, video content, and ad campaigns. Optimize & experiment Continuously refine messaging through A/B testing, performance insights, and audience feedback. Stay ahead of platform trends (e.g. LinkedIn & YouTube) and industry trends, to bring fresh ideas, adapt content formats and topics to engage our audiences, maximize reach and engagement. Proven experience as a creative copywriter with an agency background, with strong skills in writing for thought leaderships content, brand storytelling, and social media marketing (ideally in B2B SaaS). A strong portfolio showcasing creative copywriting skills across LinkedIn, YouTube, and other channels. Ability to transform complex ideas into engaging and compelling narratives with clear and concise messaging that resonate with our audience. Creative mindset with a growth-driven approach to content creation and campaign ideation. Excellent English and German language skills (native level) – verbal and written. Strong understanding of LinkedIn and YouTube best practices and audience engagement strategies, including social media copywriting and video scripting. Ability to work independently while staying aligned with marketing goals and deadlines. Why us?
