The Role
This is an opportunity for you, an ambitious and intrinsically motivated Senior Content Writer, to work in a small and value-driven company. We operate within a B2B2C model, and you'll be joining our B2B team.
In this role, you'll work directly with and report to our Head of Growth Marketing, while collaborating closely with our CRM and Business Development teams. You will be overseeing the full content lifecycle from ideation, planning, and development through web publication, distribution, maintenance, and analysis. You will create content in various formats, including blogs, whitepapers, social media posts, website content and video scripts.
What you’ll do:
* Centralize content on our website, transforming it into a comprehensive content hub from which we adapt and distribute across various channels, including newsletters, LinkedIn, webinars and paid ads
* Support lead generation efforts through compelling email marketing campaigns, landing pages, and other content-driven initiatives
* Dive deep into user behavior to identify trends and opportunities for content that resonates with our audience. You will use data-driven insights to adjust strategies and content direction as needed
Requirements
Hard Requirements
* Native level language skills in German
* Highly proficient in spoken and written English
* Existing EU work permit
* Primary residence in Germany
Nice to have
* Relevant industry experience (finance, insurance, investment)
* Bonus: You bring strong skills in either French or Italian and are comfortable writing or speaking to partners & customers in either one of these languages
* Bonus: Having worked for a pension insurance or as an insurance broker before
* Knowledge of marketing automation tools (e.g. Braze) and email campaign best practices
* Familiarity with Git, Markdown, and basic HTML
* Experience in optimizing content for search engines, with an understanding of on-page SEO best practices.
The Skills we are looking for
* Proven experience in B2B content strategy and copywriting, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to create high-quality content across various formats (blogs, white papers, landing pages, newsletters, etc.)
* You can not only create content but also plan, execute, and optimize content strategies across multiple channels
* Expertise in user behavior analysis, you can dive into analytics to understand audience needs and trends, and use these insights to inform content direction
* Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics) to track and analyze content performance.
* Experience creating longform B2B content and copy to include white papers, blog posts, communications, and similar deliverables
* Able to collaborate with demand gen and digital marketers to conduct persona research, draft and edit content for use across multiple platforms

Salary ranges
* Senior: 52 - 62k
To avoid confusion or disappointment: We have clear expectations for higher levels and the upper end of these salary bands. We will assess your seniority level during the interview process. These are our levels, so please don't expect having held a title previously is a guarantee for a certain level.
Bonus
We pay voluntary company-wide bonuses of an estimated 3-10%, if business performance permits, with a 100% track-record of doing so since 2019. We are in the process of making these goal-based, too.
