The CJD is one of the largest educational and social organisations in Germany. The International School Braunschweig-Wolfsburg was founded in 2004 and runs classes 1 - 12 and an Early Years group. It is a state-recognised supplementary school by §161 of the Lower Saxony Education Act; the school language is English. The International School Braunschweig-Wolfsburg is accredited as a Cambridge International School and as an IB (International Baccalaureate) World School. Year 12 is completed with the IB Diploma, providing access to university education. The International School sees itself as a school where children from all over the world whose families have moved to the Braunschweig region find their place. Your new responsibilities
1. Previous IB DP programme experience as teacher and coordinator
2. Familiarity with national and international educational systems and practices
3. Experience in education management, school improvement and educational change
4. Experience in educational management and innovational change
5. Proficiency in gathering, analysing, and presenting data
6. Presentation and communication skills to represent the school
7. Understands financial, marketing and communication implementations
8. Able to perform strategic thinking

9. Proficiency in written and spoken German and English
10. Ability to work in a team
11. Willingness to participate in extracurricular activities
12. Enthusiasm for working with young people from all over the world
13. Experience at international schools desirable
14. Excellent organisational and communication skills
15. Creativity, ‘thinking out of the box’
16. Assertiveness
17. Ability to work under pressure
18. High motivation and interest in further training measures to apply modern and digital methods in the classroom
19. Distinct willingness to perform on a high level
20. Membership of a Christian church that belongs to the Association of Christian Churches in Germany is desirable
