Job Description Collaborates with suppliers to assure the quality of their products, materials, components and/or operations though contract review, supplier assessment, training etc. | Monitors supplier performance and supports efforts to improve the production process, including solutions to quality deviations | Develops and implements policies, procedures and methods to maintain and improve the manufacturing quality management system in line with company objectives and industry standards (e.g .ISO 9001) | Provides training, guidance and advice to teams across the business on quality matters | Technical support to other functions for appropriate inspection and calibration methods and equipment, may also perform Quality Control and Calibration activity as required | Schedules and peforms Quality audits from detail workcentre compliance level, product or process transfer, through to Quality Manangement System or Supplier. | Analyses a range of peformance data (e.g. inspection, test, audit, cost of quality) to determine trends and opportunities for improvement | Collaborates with Quality, Engineering, Operations and Supplier Quality Assurance teams on coordination for containment, root cause analyisis and effective corrective action for a range of product and quality management system issues | May provide specialist input for quality control and assurance of certain commoditities or for compliance with specific customer, standard or regulatory requirements (e.g. ESD, ROHS etc.). Performs structured professional work assignments with no discretion to vary from established procedures. Uses existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems. Receives instruction, guidance and direction from more senior level roles.
